Locally harvested from Hamilton’s century old brickyard, this red clay is fine filtered and ready to be sprinkled across your doorsteps or around your yard to protect your home or business. Also known as redding, red dust, brick dust.
This dust was collected on the night of the Blue Moon in May 2019.
It is a modern equivalent of red ochre that was used, for millenia, in decorating totems, idols, bodies and faces for sacred purposes. Many statues of deities, including the Venus of Willendorf, were coated with red ochre.
